Recent feedback from surveys indicated that while our extensive product range (over 50 different products) greatly assist our Mortgage Introducers when assessing scenarios, it can be sometimes difficult and time consuming going through all our product sheets to find solutions. To help you find a suitable BMM product to meet your customers needs quickly, we have developed a new loan placement guide called 'PAL' (place a loan). PAL includes all our products and their specifications on one easy to use interface, allowing you to search via several categories to find the loan/s that are available to suit your customer's needs. 16/03/2008 - BMM Staff Shave to Help find a Cure for Leukaemia

After three weeks of intense fundraising, the BMM team has raised over $2000 by sacrificing (or colouring) and donating the proceeds to charity as part of the Leukaemia Foundation's Shave for Cure week. Seven staff, including Managing Director Murray Cowan, took part in the BMM 'Shave Off' in return for sponsorship. The majority of the donations was recieved from the mortgage industry including brokers, funders and mortgage insurers. The money raised will be donated to help provide better and more flexible treatment for cancer patients and their families and to fund research for a cure. BMM would like to thank all sponsors for their donations.

18/02/2008 - Welcolme to the BMM SA team Callie Elward

CALLIE ELWARD has been recruited to join BMM’s expanding national sales team and will service the South Australian, Western Australian and Northern Territory markets. Callie has acquired extensive experience within the SA mortgage finance industry primarily as a mortgage broker and BDM, most recently with Pepper Home Loans. Callie will focus on further building BMM’s extensive mortgage broker network in South Australia and developing the BMM brand in WA and NT markets..

16/02/2008 - Meet BMM's new Victorian BDM!

Better Mortgage Management (BMM) has appointed TONY MYLIUS to the position of Business Development Manager in BMM’s Melbourne office. Tony has over 19 years’ experience in the mortgage finance industry in various roles with Citibank, St George, Bluestone and most recently AFG. Tony will focus on servicing and expanding BMM’s extensive network of Mortgage Introducer contacts in metropolitan and regional Victoria and Tasmania

16/07/2007 - BMM Finalist in 2007 Australian Mortgage Awards

BMM has been announced as one of 5 finalists in the category of Industry Service at the prestigious Australian Mortgage Awards to be announced in Sydney on September 14. BMM is the only non-bank lender nominated in this category, with the other nominees all large banks. The team at BMM is very proud of this nomination which we believe again demonstates how high Mortgage Introducers value our products and services.

29/03/2007 - BMM voted among top five non-bank lenders in Australia

BMM polled strongly in MPA Magazine's annual survey of Mortgage Brokers to find Australia's best non-bank lenders, scoring top five rankings in three categories - Product Range, Approval and Turnaround Time and Broker Support. We were also only one of four non-bank lenders to be highly recommended across three or more categories. We won't be resting on our laurels though - look out in coming months for more enhancements to the way we do business!

24/11/2006 - Better Mortgage Management reaches $1Billion in settlements

Leading Australian Mortgage Manger Better Mortgage Management (BMM) has reached another significant milestone with loan settlements since inception reaching $1 Billion. The $1B milestone caps off a memorable month for BMM with the company also re-locating its Brisbane head office to spacious new premises in deal which includes naming rights of the building. Formed in 1999 by managing director Murray Cowan, BMM is now one of Australia’s fastest growing companies, featuring twice in BRW Magazine’s prestigious Fast 100 report.

30/10/2006 - Melbourne office on the Move!

Our fast-growing Victorian office has moved to spacious new premises at Cheltenham which had improved facilities including off street parking and training rooms. 16/08/2005 - BMM unveils new generation loan tracking

Mortgage Introducers will have the opportunity to experience the next generation in loan tracking, including SMS updates of loan status, with the next upgrade of Better Mortgage Management’s innovative BetterTrak system. The new generation BetterTrak now incorporates automatic SMS message updates in addition to the existing email service, automatically informing introducers of the status of their loan applications. BetterTrak issues updates for every stage of the loan application including receipt of application, ordering and receipt (including result) of valuations, Mortgage Insurance and funding approval and final settlement confirmation. The enhancement of the updated BetterTrak system follows months of research by BMM into the needs of mortgage introducers when tracking their loans.

30/06/2003 - BMM Launches Online Loan Tracking System 'BetterTrak'

BMM Introducers now have access to the convenience of online loan tracking of their BMM Loan Applications via our new BetterTrak platform. BetterTrak has been developed following extensive consultation with our Introducers and automatically sends Intoducers a status email for each major stage of loan application processing. In addition, Introducers can reveiw the status of their loan applications at any time online via BMM's website.
